Hi, I’m Lizzie, a 4th-year Veterinary Science student at Charles Sturt University.

This year, I’m running the Sydney Marathon to raise funds for Sophie’s Legacy.

The veterinary profession is built on care, but too often those within it struggle in silence. Veterinarians are four times more likely to die by suicide than the general population, something I find completely unacceptable. I’ve seen firsthand how important support can be, and I’ve been fortunate to have it when I’ve needed it. Not everyone does, and no one should have to walk this path alone.

I’m running to help create a future where veterinary professionals are supported, valued, and never alone. Thank you for your support.
