Sophie’s Legacy
Beloved vet Dr Sophie Putland, 33, tragically took her own life in September 2021, after industry pressures and client abuse became too much.
Vets are four times more likely to die by suicide than the general population. On average, a vet dies by suicide every 12 weeks.
We, Sophie’s family and friends, established Sophie’s Legacy to take action to reduce this statistic.
